Adapting cell phones, media players for interactive applications is aim of project (3/6/2008)
By simply touching the screen of an Apple iPhone or iTouch, consumers will soon be able to access newscasts, interact with a local car dealer or order dinner from a nearby restaurant because of a project developed at Ball State University. The university's faculty and students are taking interactive television (iTV) to the next level this semester, will work on developing an interface system promising to expand the capabilities of handheld communication devices.
